Today I had to explain to a friend that she would have to vote against the “streetcar amendment” to insure rail development in the city.
She assumed rail development would be a pro business stance and that the Republican mayoral candidate would be supporting it. Again, I had to tell her, no, the Republicans are anti business development on this issue.
The level of deceit and illogic the anti rail people are exhibiting is incredible and will take a lot to combat.
Mallory was looking good on Noosemakers.

I hate it when you have to vote no to be for something. I think the anti-smoking votes were similar to that and a lot of people voted wrong (Vets, I believe).
