ODOT Approves $15 Million for Cincinnati Streetcar

Posted on

The Ohio Department of Transportation has approved $15 million in Transportation Review Advisory Committee funding (TRAC) for the Cincinnati Streetcar.  A funding recommendation for this amount had been made in the TRAC Draft list of projects released in March.

This award, along with the the City of Cincinnati’s contribution, private donations, and the award made earlier today by OKI bring the total amount of funds pledged for the Cincinnati Streetcar to $86,500,000.

The map below shows the tremendous amount of development that has occurred, is under construction or planned in our urban core.  The Cincinnati Streetcar will connect these projects and create new jobs and economic activity along the route. Keep Cincinnati Moving Forward–Build the Streetcar.

I think I’m missing something. It looks like 85.5 million. 15 million today, 4 million today, 64 million 2 days ago, and 2.5 million for the Engineering study.

Where is the other million from?

$1 million from the Duke money had already been allocated to the Streetcar

Cool. It looks like it’s on track. That’s over half of the 128 million. Where are the haters?
