Streetcar Planning Around the Country

The Infrastructurist has this map of operational and planned streetcar lines across the country:

Rather than falling victim to the old cliche of always being “ten years behind the times,” Cincinnati has the opportunity to be one of the first cities in the country to operate modern streetcars.

Building a modern streetcar system will create new jobs and investment and make Cincinnati a better place to live.  Keep Cincinnati Moving Forward–Build the Streetcar.

    The Transportation Secretary is handing out 6 $25 million grants for streetcars, if Issue 9 had passed we’d be out of the running. The Infrastructurist says competition is fierce for fed money.
