Findlay Market Open Later

Posted on Updated on

The Enquirer is reporting that Findlay Market will now be open until 6pm Tuesday-Friday.  When the Streetcar connects Findlay Market with Downtown, Uptown and the rest of Over the Rhine, hopefully they will be able to stay open even later and become, as they once were, the ‘grocery store’ for the city.

I would like to see the area around Findlay become a transit hub of sorts, with connections from Uptown, Downtown and via Central Parkway, East and West.

Agreed!!! That was one of our major suggestions at the design charette…there is a ton of underutilized/unused space along and between McMicken and Clifton Ave that could be developed into that Hub.

This is great news…I’m diggin’ the image of the streetcar rolling past Findlay Market.

There is always so much going on you’ll never get it all in, the streetcar could allow you to take in one more event that you might not have had time to before.
