President Proposes High Speed Rail Serving Cincinnati

Posted on Updated on

The Enquirer is reporting that the President is calling for investment in high speed rail linking cities including Cincinnati.  The map below shows direct connections from Cincinnati to Dayton, Columbus, Cleveland, Indianapolis, and Chicago.

The Cincinnati Streetcar could connect Union Terminal, the likely Cincinnati station, with the rest of Downtown, Uptown, and Northern Kentucky, taking visitors the last few miles from the Queensgate station to their hotel or other final destination (Zoo, Reds Game, Aquarium, etc.).

Out of town tourists could easily visit Cincinnati for the day and use rail and streetcars to reach most of the City’s major attractions.

Support Increased Tourism- Build the Streetcar.

There is also direct connection to Milwaukee and Minneapolis with high-speed service. You also have the slower 70-80 mph service from Cincinnati to Washington D.C. as well.
