You guys have got to respond to the attack on the streetcar in today’s Enquirer. According to their own poll 44% of Cincinnatians are in favor of it as opposed to 48% against. Once you factor in the 4.1% margin of error it becomes clear that opinion is pretty much split down the middle.
In spite of that the article claims “most oppose” the streetcar, that “Cincinnatians have deep rooted objections” to the plan, and that “people’s disdain for the streetcar” is quite evident. These are lies plain and simple we have to call them out as such and not let them get away with this.

Prior to moving to Cincinnati just a few short months ago, I was a 7 year resident of Portland, Oregon. A beautiful city with a vibrant urban core. I, by choice, relied on public transit for almost three years while living there and contribute much of Portland’s success to those that took a chance on the streetcar and MAX years ago!
This project is critical for momentum in urban development on Cincinnati and I give you all my support!
Thanks for the blog and the information.
