The Cincinnati Streetcar, running from Uptown to Downtown and the Riverfront, will be great for sports fans who come in to see a game.
The Streetcar will connect US Bank Arena, Great American Ball Park, Paul Brown Stadium, Fifth Third Arena, Nippert Stadium, and Marge Schott Stadium with all the restaurants and nightlife options in Downtown, Over-the-Rhine and around the University of Cincinnati. Whether your a Reds, Bengals, Cyclones, or Bearcats fan you’ll be able to take the streetcar to the game.
Sports fans can park on the street for free after 5pm and take the streetcar down to the game, saving $10 or $20 on parking–especially helpful if you have young children who might not want to walk three quarters of a mile to the stadium.
After the fans can take the streetcar to enjoy a Christian Moerlein or Hudy Delight at one of Downtown’s many bars and restaurants rather than fighting traffic. Or they can take the streetcar up to the casino on Broadway Commons.
With the Bearcats in hunt for a National Title, the Bengals leading their division, and St. X and Elder vying for the State Championship the streetcar would be great for keeping the hundreds of thousands of football fans descending on Cincinnati in town before and after the kickoff to support our local business.
